The more I live the more I understand the meaning that this song has for me. I look at my life at moments and realize "Oh - that's what it meant" That seems to happen in lots of my songs. I just write what I hear and than later find out what the real unfolding of that story in my life is about. But basically it's about the power of conviction, commiting to yourself - and your own integrity. backing your self up so to speak. Thus outer relationships reflect the same beauty.
